April marked the beginning of the third year of CMG Unite. This momentous occasion naturally prompted me to reflect on all the good we’ve done, ya know, for humanity and such. Seriously though, I did take a look at the stats to see what kind of progress we’ve made since our first feeble post, lo those many months ago. A few things caught my attention. (For those of you who utterly could not care less, there are some pretty pictures for ya at the end.)

The top ten search terms that led people to this humble blog predictably contained various permutations of crazy, monkey, gurls and blog … six permutations to be exact. There were, however, four other words that brought readers to the site with some frequency.

6.   bunjed
7.   funny shit
10. zoophilia

Okay, so I wrote about all of those things, in some way or another. I had kinda hoped that people would come to CMG Unite via something a little closer to my heart, like … I dunno … Pete Wentz or Jean-Claude Van Damme or Michael Mancini. But I’m not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.

The FAQ was the most popular single post. I must admit, it’s one of my faves too. The fisting post also made a respectable showing, though, thankfully, no one seems to have found the post by searching for skull fucking. 63 Things was the most popular thread of posts, perhaps to my ex’s chagrin.

I am also happy to report that last month we received our first comment not made by a friend or family member. Praise be to jeezus, cuz, frankly, I was starting to consider unblocking some of the spam comments just to keep my friends’ comments company.

This month we’re introducing something fabulous and new … a guest blogger. Yay! He’ll be bringing back the Word of the Day and, I’m sure, putting his own unique stamp on it.

So, here’s to the next two years, one month, and two days.
